Kasarabada.org welcomes you all ...
We have been continuously updating our Ramayana pages , so this time we are bringing a special page on Rama's marriage. Thus now we have special pages for Rama's birth , Rama's marriage and Sri Rama Pattabhishekam !
Ramayana as the Adi kavyam is source for lot of information of thosr times. The details of Rama's marriage also thus formed an important link to thE past . Some of the practices described in the marriage related events and sargas are even now followed in parts of India. The marriage inviatations even now carry a reference sloka about Sita and Rams's marriage !
As mentioned in our last issue ( 251st) we have had a surge of visitors to kasarabada.org, with a little more than thousand visitors in the preceding 30 days. We noted that is an encouragement for improving quality of the site. The first step in this direction will be in reducing the HTML links which seem to clutter all pages. We will have minimal links from all pages. We are starting on this now and the clean up effort will take a couple of months ! Hopefully we will bring it to your notice !
This week we are bringing 39th Sarga of Balakanda. This comes with the new commitment for lesser number of links. the page of 39th Sarga has links related to 39th Sarga only . As you may have notices we bring 39th Sarga with Sanskrit slokas in Devanagari , Telugu and Kannada with meanings in English and Telugu . From the page of 39th Sarga you have to go back to Balakanda page for seeing all other Sargas . or Go to Ramayanam page for seeing anything related to Ramayanam on this site or go back all the way to Home to see other topics like Bhagavatam etc.
We hope to make this the norm !.
This week we also have an interesting line under "one more thing". It is an old line from Mahabharata.
తే శతం హి వయం పంచ / ते शतं हि वयं पंच
It is a line I used and may be overused too !! It has endless possibilities ! .. that is only if there is a person willing to listen !

For the new visitors - the site has a layered structure with with Four main pages :

- Bhagavatam which includes (i) Dasama Skandha and (ii) Uddhava Gita
Athato Brahma jignyasaa which includes (i) Kathopanishad and (ii) Tatvabhodha
One more thing is a page where we have articles which could be on anything , informative and educative handled with a light heart and a touch of contemporary realities.
